Whenever I visit my parent’s house, I always feel like I am walking back into the 20th century. They have a fairly large house, but they have not made optimal use of the space they have available. For instance, they have a large room that is currently being used as a guest bedroom. That would be great if my parents ever had guests, but they do not.

As they are nearing retirement, one thing they enjoy to do is to watch films together. I recommended that they pitch the guest bedroom and install a modern home theater. With a new home theater, they could double their enjoyment from their movie experience. (more…)

As the economy continues to struggle, businesses are doing whatever they can to make ends meet. Traditionally lower priced venues are now offering higher prices to their customers in order to reduce their losses. My family is one of the many that have experienced this unfair treatment. Difficulties of Home Theater Wiring

I tend to think of myself as a person who can do just about anything around the house. I set up my home computer network, installed a new sink in the bathroom, and fixed the garage opener. Despite my obvious success with these processes, I have always faced difficulty when trying to work on my home theater wiring.

To me, it is a fairly complicated process to correctly install a home theater, so I wanted to make sure that the home theater wiring was performed by a professional. If I did it myself, I could damage the equipment or short a fuse.
