When I decided to have a home theater system installed in my home I had no idea how complicated the project would be. The salesman that sold me the equipment ensured me that installation would go smoothly and seamlessly. That was the understatement of the year.

The electronics company that I purchased my equipment from had a team of home theater installers that they contracted out for installation. Since I knew nothing about home theater installation I decided to go with their recommendation. That was my first mistake, to let in a group or workers that I knew nothing about.

The home theater installers that arrived at my home were entirely unprofessional and disrespectful towards my home. I felt compelled to watch their every move because I felt that I could not trust them unsupervised in my home. It was a time consuming and miserable experience.

Of course the installers faulted the manufacturer and explained that I needed to bring all of the equipment back to the retailer. That was the first bright idea that these fellows had. I boxed up all of the equipment and promptly returned it to the retailer and demanded a full refund.

I returned home and looked online for a home theater installer that was committed to providing professional services and that tested out all of the electronic components before installing them.

I was able to find a company that only used superior quality electronics and that relied upon a team of skilled installers and calibrators. They also tested all of the equipment before installation and vowed to provide their customers with a hassle free installation. I liked the sound of that. I made an appointment to meet with a representative and my original enthusiasm over my home theater room was restored.
